I decided to cross over Byakuren (Touhou) and Natsume (Natsume Yuujinchou / Natsume's Book of Friends)

Byakuren was sealed away by humans for showing kindness to youkai. She wanted humans and youkai to coexist."

During the events of Undefined Fantastic Object, the youkai she has saved reappear to break her free from the seal. "
When reading this, Natsume came to mind with the way he helps spirits and shows kindness towards them by freeing them. While Byakuren was locked away by humans for helping youkai, Natsume was misunderstood, and made an outcast as no one else could see the spirits he saw.
For those who haven't watched Natsume Yuujinchou, Natsume frees the spirits by blowing out the spirit's name from a piece of paper. I imagined Byakuren would want to free the spirits also, so I drew her doing a similar thing.
I tried to combine Byakuren's scroll with Natsume's 'Book of Friends' - so her spells are written on paper rather than in thin air.

Anyway, I love the pose, and overall scene. The background is well matched and her flow of hair is great, not to mention all those colors which lead me to click this thumbnail's deviation xD. I love the colors so much!
